5 very useful internet tools to improve online efficiency.
Here are 5 very useful internet tools which I use regularly to improve my effiency of internet usage. They do not fall in any particular category, but each of them is a Free service which does not require any logins or registrations. Each of them saves time for online activities in its own unique way.Check and try out these tools and see if any of them is useful for you. I am sure that you will find at least one of them to be useful. Do not forget to mention in the comments if you are using some other tools to improve efficiency.
Kukuklok :
Kukuklok: For those who sit on their PCs/Laptops for a long time and surf a lot, this is a useful tool. Often what happens while on the net is that we forget how much time we are devoting to a particular task/site. With this simple online Clock , one can set time for a task and decide when and in what voice you want to be reminded to move to the next task.Though it is very simple clock, its simplicity is its advantage. I love the voice of the Cuckerel to get a reminder. Check out many other voice options.

Bity.ly: There are umpteen url shortners, but this one is my favourite. It not only shortens the url , but also helps track the traffic that this URL gets from various sources. This is particularly useful for SEO experts who put up the URLs at different sites for promotion of their site.Another good feature of the service is that you can chose a url name you can remember – eg you can create a url as bit.ly/bestonlintools (if its not already taken) rather than a difficult to remember auto created one. The traffic source tracking is extensive as you can see from images above for one of our URLs by a user.
Pipl :

Pipl:This is a search engine with a difference. It claims to search deep into web and gets results which other engines do not. It helps in searching about Names, Emails, Usernames and Phones (phones only in US and Canada). It is quite interesting for me to search about my email address, User names etc and at times it is surprising to find that I have left my emails at places I should not have!

Short Text: A cool way to keep some of the text I need regularly. Just enter text in the box , link image or video and keep the URL. Access the text anytime by just entering the URL from anywhere without any login issues . Keep it private if you do not want to share with others. The size of the text box is huge -30,000 characters and one can keep a large amount of text in one url.And if you want to use your own names in the url, a charge of usd 2 /year applies.

But me not: A famous and simple service where users upload their login ids for different sites and other users can use these ids to explore the sites .It helps to do away with the cumbersome new account creation process in many sites. Just search for any site name and find the login ids for that site with passwords. The benefit of this service is that you can explore different sites without spending a long time on registrations on each. Here is sample search for Delicious IDs and passwords
